emily giffin books

I know i might be a bit late on the Emily Giffin train, but i decided to give her books a try, so far i've read:
loved it.

loved it less than "something borrowed"

loved it even less than "something borrowed, and something blue"

and
better than expected, but something borrowed was still my favorite.

seeing as how i noticed a bit of a digression in my enjoying of the books, i'm a bit hesitant to read "The Heart of the Matter" -- but why stop now. i'll probably pick it up, since i've read the others

but, for now
i'm currently reading:
so far, so good :)

anyone else a bit disappointed in Emily Giffin books???
happy monday!

  1. I feel the EXACT way. I own all her books in hardback. I LOVED the first 2 books how they kinda went hand in hand...then the last 3 she wrote I was like girl what happened? they got depressing and not uplifting at all with her story lines....Emily Giffin and Nicholas Sparks are the only 2 authors I read religiously..She only puts out 1 book a year too...So I dunno I loved the first 2 but yeah the rest kinda aren't so wonderful.

  3. I've read all of Emily's books and enjoyed them. I went into them just wanting an easy read so my expectations weren't very high and so I can't say I was disappointed.

I listened to Heart of the Matter on CD and it was read my Cynthia Nixon {which gave it a few extra bonus points} and I liked it, but it ended a bit quickly for my taste. It's definitely still worth reading.

Something Borrowed and Something Blue are being made into movies, aren't they? I thought I'd heard that somewhere...
